CB Insights develops machine intelligence platform catches private company financing and angel investment database.

I lead the Growth and Sales Operations team at CB Insights, a data and analytics SaaS company (CBI is also one of the fastest growing NYC startups). At CBI I work up and down our marketing funnel, support 40+ people on the sales and customer success team, and am responsible for scaling out our events business as well. I enjoy wearing many hats, thrive in balancing strategic & tactical work, and am well versed in scaling a SaaS business. Prior to CBI I was at ACE Portal, an NYSE backed capital raising platform. My work there was vintage early-stage startup. I led all marketing, including building our inbound content program while also building my own pipeline selling a complex enterprise SaaS product into senior execs on both the buy & sell side. ACE also gave me the chance to level up my UX & product management skills in order to fill major gaps in the product vertical. Yep, we were small. Before that I was at HSBC in a rotational program across private banking, analytics, and HR, including 6 months of customer facing sales. Passed all 3 Levels of the CFA Exam on consecutive attempts (I co-own GoStudy, an edtech platform for the CFA exams). Skills (Product-related): Product Development (from requirements gathering to grooming a backlog). Have managed product cycles in Agile & am comfortable working with engineers to ship code. Strong product vision with respect to UX, defining new features to generate revenue/win more business, & generally optimizing a product for growth. Terrible at wireframes.
