Joe Kendall is a systems problem solver who leads teams of designers, engineers, and product managers. Currently at DISCO, he started his career at Bose building speakers and spent the years in between at IBM and a variety of startups, exploring everything from innovation consulting for Fortune 100 clients to venture-backed clean-tech to the infamous three guys in the garage. Along the way, he’s built and shipped over 30 different consumer and industrial products used by thousands of people in both B2C and B2B environments. He focuses on using design thinking and systems approaches to help companies make novel products that provide real value to everyone involved. Most of his experience has centered on products with multiple integrated systems, and he’s pretty good at helping people understand these systems and balance the tradeoffs of making them. An alum of Olin College and Stanford’s Design Program, Joe may not give you all the answers you need, but he will get you asking more of the right questions.
