Sam is Chief Revenue Officer at Bustle, the fastest growing site for young women. He is responsible for global revenue, the hiring and training of Bustle's sales team, and all sales strategy. He reports to the CEO of Bustle. Sam was Bustle's first salesperson and is now responsible for a national sales team that works with over 125 top-tier (and happy) Fortune 500 customers.Prior to Bustle, Sam was Vice President of Sales at CollegeHumor Media (an IAC owned business), where he managed the national sales team selling digital advertising, including display, video, syndication, and branded content. He was responsible for developing ad sales strategies that resulted in significant revenue growth and reported directly to the CEO of CollegeHumor Media.Sam has also sold ads for Playboy Magazine, blip.tv, StyleCaster, and Adweek Magazine.Sam has invested in early stage media, commerce, and tech businesses, including Go Try It On (acquired by Rent the Runway), Open Air Publishing (acquired by Inkling), Elepath, and The Loyalist. He also advises growing digital media companies on ad sales strategy, including Grandex Inc, MoviePilot.com, Inverse.com, and Wham City Lights.Sam was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and graduated with a BA in English Literature from Emory University.
