On October 31, 2016, BrightScope was acquired by Strategic Insight. BrightScope is a financial information company that brings transparency to opaque markets through independent research and analysis. Delivered through cloud-based software, BrightScope data drives better decision-making for individual investors, corporate plan sponsors, asset managers, broker-dealers, and financial advisors. The BrightScope Rating_C/ reviews more than 200 unique data inputs per retirement plan and calculates a single numerical score which defines plan quality at the company level. In April 2011, the company launched BrightScope Advisor Pages_C/, the first comprehensive and publicly available directory of financial advisors designed to help consumers discover information and conduct due diligence on wealth management professionals. In June 2015, the company launched BrightScope Fund Pages to deliver a new look at mutual funds and ETFs.
Responsible for the client facing engagement team made up of talented and professional sales executives, data solutions stewards, marketing, project management and client engagement representatives. As part of the Executive team, he is tasked with accelerating the companies growth given the industry demand for better data transparency and visualization. A strong track record of revenue generation in the financial service sector along with building highly successful sales and client support teams. Significant budget/ P&L responsibility and well established C-Level relationships across the financial service & media sector. Board level as well as M&A experience, Product & technology expertise, strong presentation, competitive analysis, market research and negotiation skills.
