After enjoying the senior position of a Consultant urologist for 13 years in one of the largest and most prestigious hospitals in the UK, I made the move to Chicago. I am one of the few surgeons (if only) who has treated over 500 patients with post radical prostatectomy urinary incontinence including the use of male slings and the artificial urinary sphincter. My experience has been recognised on both sides of the Atlantic with regular lectures at the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the American Urological Association Annual Conferences. I am also passionate about helping women with bladder pain and interstitial cystitis and well known for my enthusiasm for bladder instillation therapy but also recognising and using new approaches and therapies. I have a wide experience in various media outlets with regular appearances on the National UK TV Channel 4 prime time health chat show “Live from the Clinic” with nearly 3 million viewers. I have chaired and participated in key committees and developed special interest in clinical outcome and health informatics.
