Stephanie Koster is Director and Treasurer of Blue Origin, LLC and its affiliates (founded and backed by Jeff Bezos). Hired in January 2011, Ms. Koster is Head of Finance and Business Operations encompassing Accounting and Tax, Procurement and Supplier Management, Program Support, IT and Information Security, Enterprise Systems and Tools, Human Resources and Benefits, and Administration for the Consolidated companies. Operating affiliates include Blue’s Washington headquarters; Texas Suborbital Test and Launch site; Florida Orbital Manufacturing, Launch and Landing site; Washington DC office; a new rocket engine manufacturing site; and others. In 2002, Ms. Koster was recruited to The Boeing Company where she held senior leadership positions in the Global Venture Capital Program, Corporate Venturing & Chairman’s Innovation Program, International M&A, Corporate Development, and Technology Acquisition. She also spent a number of years in International Business Development in the Asian Pacific, European, US DoD, and new/emerging markets. She twice led Boeing’s annual International Finance symposium for the company’s top 300 financial leaders and received a number of Corporate and Leadership awards.Prior to Boeing, Ms. Koster led a variety of technology startups, leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and divestitures. She was a founding Advisory Board Member for a $2B+ investment firm, manager of a private trust, turnaround SME for a large technology bank, an adjunct University professor, and Deloitte and Touche auditor.Ms. Koster holds an MBA from the University of Washington Foster School of Business and a BA in Business Administration, focused on Economics and Accounting, from Calvin College. She is a licensed CPA and held a US DoD Secret Clearance.
