Bigelow Tea was founded by Ruth Campbell Bigelow over 70 years ago in 1945. The company continues to be 100% family owned and managed by the Bigelow family with a special blend of pride and enthusiasm. Today the company is one of the nation's leading producers of specialty teas, which includes more than 130 varieties of flavored, traditional, green, organic green, herbal, decaffeinated, and iced teas. One of Bigelow Tea s most well-known products is America s number one specialty tea flavor Constant Comment which is flavored with a delicious blend of oranges and spice.

I currently work as Director of Sales at Bigelow Tea Company. At Bigelow, I lead a team of 12 individuals in setting strategic direction in Sales, Channel Development, Category Management, Trade Marketing, and Customer/Shopper Marketing. In my 10 plus years at Bigelow I very proud of my many contributions that have strengthened the brand leadership in the marketplace. Category Management/Category Development is a strong passion of mine and a discipline I brought to Bigelow 10 years ago. I continue to lead and develop these efforts which have led to a category advisor role in many of the largest retailers in America. Channel Development has been a very important growth engine for Bigelow. I have led the channel strategy which resulted in getting distribution in many new channels including Drug and Value. Customer /Shopper Marketing has been a new initiative that I have spearheaded at Bigelow. Leading shopper insight research and bringing those insights to store with highly impactful executions. Many of these executions are Omni Channel in nature, starting in store and supported across social/digital platforms. Over the past 2 years,I have been part of a core team that has worked with IDEO on one of the largest projects in the company's 70 year history. Working with IDEO and their highly effective research design methods we identified 10 clear opportunities for the brand over the next 5 years. This experience of working with IDEO was career changing and armed me with a new set of extremely valuable skills.
