Laurie is a highly motivated self-starter with over 8 years of professional experience in both public and private accounting. In her current role at Hein & Associates LLP, she assists public and private companies with an array of assurance services including financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits, Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404), reviews and compilations. She has worked with a variety of clients, with a focus on manufacturing. Prior to joining Hein, Laurie was a Financial Analyst for The Dow Chemical Company, a Fortune 500 and multinational chemical corporation. Laurie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). She received her bachelors of arts in accounting from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where she graduated with honors.
