Ed Bull has been a shareholder with Burch & Cracchiolo since 1985 and currently serves as President of the firm. Mr. Bull is the senior member of the Zoning and Real Estate Department and practices primarily in the areas of Land Use, Zoning, General Plans, Variances, Use Permits, Site Plan Approvals, Development Agreements, Real Estate Transactions, and other development-related matters. Mr. Bull’s practice also involves various administrative processes and eminent domain. Mr. Bull has been honored as one of the "Best Lawyers in America" and a "Southwest SuperLawyer." He has received an "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell and a Band 2 rating by Chambers USA. Mr. Bull's professional experience includes: • Representation of retail commercial, industrial, office and hotel developers, home builders, multi-family builders, churches and others in land use, zoning, general plan amendments, planned area developments, variances, and use permits. • Representation of land owners in connection with entitlements for commercial, office and retail projects including mixed-use master plans, regional malls, retail centers, office developments and industrial developments. • Representation of homebuilders and multi-family builders in multi-family communities, single family subdivisions, et al. • Representation of land owners, automotive dealerships, grocers and others in negotiating public and private easements, development agreements, purchase and sale matters, and related real estate documents. • Representation of development projects ranging in size from under one acre to 20,000 acres. Mr. Bull has lectured on Land Use and Zoning Planning Law for Lorman Education’s Seminar entitled “How to Structure the Real Estate Deal in Arizona,” for the Arizona State University Urban Planning Studio on the procedures surrounding municipality requirements for Zoning and Land Use filings and on other topics.
