A Director in the Public Affairs & Crisis Group at Burson-Marsteller, Anna Kukowski helps clients across sectors and industries educate stakeholders about complex issues and manage crises. She has worked on a variety of local, national and global campaigns for corporate/ corporate foundation, government and non-profit clients in areas including apparel, arts and culture, chemicals, consumer packaged goods, finance, food, health and wellness, pharmaceuticals, technology and women’s issues. Prior to her work at Burson-Marsteller, Anna was the interim administrator of the Central Square Business Association (CSBA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. There, she developed and implemented a media relations campaign to raise awareness about the organization’s mission and to support its diverse member base. Before working with the CSBA, Anna worked with education, architecture and non-profit clients at Bishoff Communications in Boston, Massachusetts. She also managed press for The Yard, a theater on Martha’s Vineyard dedicated to choreography and performing arts. Anna earned a Master of Science in public relations at Boston University, and she studied history and the development of western civilization as an undergraduate at Providence College.
