16 years of studying marketing and communication in diverse consumer facing services brands. Well versed with all faculties of marketing with exposure in digital marketing, PPC, SEO, Affiliate management, brand management, media planning and buying, direct marketing, budgeting & forecasting, trade and channel marketing, consumer research, customer relationship management and lead management campaigns. My assignment with a leading telecom service provider gave me the necessary orientation and building blocks for a career as a marketer. Exposure to this mass market category taught me everything I know about marketing today. From the rigors of market visits, to picking relevant and actionable consumer insights to successful campaign execution. Working in the BFSI sector gave me an opportunity to further deepen my marketing skills and enhance the width of my exposure. Lead the set-up and launch of the direct marketing channel which involved digital campaign management and also setting-up of the online sales platform. The second assignment exposed me to product management and chasing top-line. A brief stint in luxury retail marketing challenged my thinking and exposed me to the inverted pyramid of classical marketing. This stint exposed me to social media marketing and to build brands through experiential marketing and digital media only. . Tasked with growing the top-line and maximizing marketing efficiencies, my last assignment as head of marketing with an ecommerce travel start-up was to build a brand from scratch and deliver on the business goals of a start-up. The assignment had a unique set of challenges from building brand awareness to demand generation and mentoring a new and young team.
