Axalta (AXTA) manufactures, markets and distributes paint for commercial vehicles, refinish aftermarkets and a wide variety of industrial coating systems.

Extensive experience as a Senior IT Manager, overseeing Cloud Architecture/Migration, Database Administration, Vendor Management, Infrastructure Administration, and Project Management, including managing on-shore and off-shore Infrastructure Teams (DBA’s, Storage, Network, Virtualization, Wintel, Backup) in various sectors including industrial, financial, insurance, telecom, health and banking. Worked with Cloud Services providers (AZURE/AWS/HEC (SAP)/SunGard) in contract negotiations and SLA for Data Center Migration. Closed the Data Center within a span of 12 months by migrating over 1,200 servers including architecting Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Co-Location (CoLo) services towards a projected cost savings (NPV) of over 10 MM in 3 years. As Global Head and SME for the Database Division at Axalta Coating Systems, lead all phases of design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Architecture, Engineered Systems, High Availability Solutions, Cloud Computing, Strategic Planning, Disaster Recovery, and Project Management. Oversaw the Database migrations/transformation/stabilization and maintenance as part of a $100 Million transition project for the $4 Billion global coatings/paint manufacturing company when it separated out from DuPont (formerly DuPont Performance Coatings). Headquartered in Philadelphia, Axalta manages its business in five regions servicing North America, Latin America (including Mexico), China, East and South Asia, and Europe, Middle East and Africa.
