Hey, I'm Colin- I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2014 with a BA in Sociology. At school, I taught creative writing to prison inmates, facilitated dialogues on race, gender, and sexuality, and helped organize community events as a member of TEDxUofM. After graduation, I worked in marketing, sales, and customer service at Moosejaw Mountaineering and General Motors while I figured out what was next. I decided to enroll in an intensive, full-time 10 week coding bootcamp at Grand Circus Detroit to learn Front-End web development. I'm learning HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and I'd like to use these skills to work remotely and travel. I'd love to split my time between building beutiful, highly functional sites and exploring nature around the world.
