I'm a non-profit executive with more than 20 years experience in strategic planning, fund raising, program development, and management within organizations ranging in size from 10-300 employees. I am deeply engaged in the Austin commuinty, as well as the Central Texas region. I have had extraordinary success in connecting those who want to give back -- through philanthropy, volunteering, or working for our social service, education, and animal welfare organizations, among others. Because I have lived and worked here for so many years, I have deep knowledge of the charitable and philanthropic interests of many of the opinion makers in our city and I rely on these resources to help guide my work and the work of many others who want to serve and contribute to our vibrant city. In the past few years I have taken great delight in mentoring and coaching a number of individuals in the non profit profession to help them achieve greater success, a deeper base of knowledge and rich opportunities for advancing their careers. This is one of the most exciting aspects of my professional life. Specialties: I am committed to sharing my knowledge of non profit management with organizations by developing strategic plans to move them from concept to reality. I have a strong affinity for teaching others through coaching, professional speaking and facilitation.
