The Australian Securities and Investments Commission is an independent Australian government body that acts as Australia's corporate regulator.
I'm a dual Australia and New York lawyer / attorney, currently working for UBS. Prior to joining UBS, I worked in the Markets division at ASIC, supervising the conduct of market participants in over-the-counter financial markets. This included providing legal and regulatory advice, conducting investigations and initiating civil, criminal and administrative action for misconduct in these markets. My litigation experience includes the Federal Court cases against ANZ, CBA, NAB and Westpac in relation to their involvement in setting the Bank Bill Swap Reference Rate (BBSW). Prior to joining ASIC I worked as an analyst in M&A at KPMG, advising corporations and private equity clients on identifying and fulfilling M&A transactions. I'm admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia (admission date November 2015), hold an Australian Practising Certificate in New South Wales, entered on the Register of Legal Practitioners in the High Court of Australia and admitted to the New York Bar (admission date November 2019).
