Alison Toczylowski Webber, a Chicago native, has been the Director of Marketing and Communications at ASCAP Nashville since May 2012, where she heads the Nashville public relations and media efforts of the world's first and leading performance rights organization. Alison comes to Nashville via NYC, where she spent five years in ASCAP's Marketing, Media and Communications departments. She began her career at ASCAP in Chicago in 2006 as a Pop/Rock membership representative, where her duties included the recruitment and retention of ASCAP members throughout the Midwest. Before joining ASCAP, Alison held numerous positions within the Chicago music industry, such as lead talent buyer and/or promoter at various live music venues around the city, including Metro, House of Blues, Double Door, Wise Fools Pub and more. She also managed and acted as booking agent for several notable Chicago-area bands. An active participant in the Nashville music industry community, Alison is a member of the Country Music Association (CMA), the Academy of Country Music (ACM), the Americana Music Association (AMA) and is an alumna of the Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID). Alison was the 2015 President and 2014 Secretary of the Women's Music Business Association (WMBA) and is a member of SOURCE Nashville, Nashville's women's music industry leadership group.
