Terezia C. Nemeth is a real estate development professional with over 30 years of experience. Most recently, Ms. Nemeth served as Executive Vice President & Regional Market Director of the San Francisco Bay Area for Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. - a publicly traded REIT. In that capacity, Ms. Nemeth managed the company's 8 million square foot operating portfolio of life science assets and was responsible for the development pipeline of nearly 9 million square feet located across the peninsula from San Francisco to Palo Alto. Ms. Nemeth has worked on the Mission Bay project in San Francisco since its inception in 1998. She led the design, entitlement, and project management for all commercial development at Mission Bay for Alexandria as well as previously for Catellus Development Corporation. Ms. Nemeth has also served as a Special Assistant – Development to SF Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr., and as Long Range Planning Director for the City of Oakland. Ms. Nemeth serves as Vice-Chair of the Mission Bay Community Advisory Committee, as well as a member of the Board of the Mission Bay Transportation Management Association and the Mission Bay Commercial Maintenance Corporation, and previously served on the Board of the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation. Ms. Nemeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree and a Master of Architecture degree from UC Berkeley as well as a Master of Science degree from the Center for Real Estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
