She was the senior director of business intelligence, marketing with Community Health Systems (CHS), in Franklin, TN and was vice president of business intelligence and planning at Health Management Associates in Naples, FL. In these roles, she supported over 200 hospitals through data acquisition, analytics and internal consulting.Previously, she was vice president for marketing and business development at MedCath, Inc. Before joining MedCath, she was senior director of marketing communications for Triad Hospitals, where she was responsible for the development of shared marketing campaigns, crisis communications support, and data acquisition and analytics. She has also held senior management and marketing positions at three hospitals and was senior vice president for GodwinGroup, where she directed the activities of the healthcare division. Prior to entering the healthcare field, she worked in higher education and in tourism. Crombie earned a master’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian.
