I love building customer focussed teams, culture, and products in high growth companies. Committed to producing the best possible user experiences through product development, user-centred design, and innovation. I’ve spent the majority of my career to date in commerce, gaming, and gambling. I’ve experienced huge company success and scale twice. First in Ireland at Paddy Power, and second in Canada at Shopify. In both cases, the team around me were both anti-status quo, and incredibly smart. I learned everything I know from those around me, and had the opportunity, particularly at Shopify, to build a team and product that was successful and fulfilling beyond my wildest dreams. My common thread in both companies was showing them that involving customers in product development would increase their bottom line. Now I’ve branched out with Backbone Angels, and we spend our days working to advance successful and driven female founders. So, while I’m not looking for full time work right now, I will forever be scouting for the next opportunity to work with high energy, high capacity people looking to solve a hard problem in a customer focussed way.
