I am a second year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Massachusetts's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston, Massachusetts. I plan to pursue my Masters of Public Health degree online in my second year to become a community health educator. I look forward to attaining a career that will help local communities attain great health and health education. My dream goal is to serve my nation in disadvantaged areas. I strive to one day be a Public Health Pharmacist for the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. I also plan to pursue a pediatric clinical pharmacy residency to become a pediatric clinical pharmacist and work at a children's hospital. I enjoy volunteering in disadvantaged areas through mission trips. My first trip was this past summer through the non-profit, Hands Up for Haiti. I helped as a pharmacy technician in outreach health clinics of Northern Haiti. Also, I helped educate young adults in Nutrition. I look forward to furthering my education at MCPHS and working to help children and their families through great healthcare and proper health education.
