Today, companies who invest in their employees and culture achieve the most sustained growth. As the Chief Transformation and People Officer of AMC Networks, I drive enterprise-wide realignment and and oversee all People Practices. I embrace change, lead inclusively and live the organization’s culture and values every day. I bring to this role 17 years of progressively more senior positions at AMC Networks; first in marketing, then general management – as network President - and now in HR/People and Culture/Rewards. Known for its groundbreaking and celebrated original content, AMC Networks is the company behind award-winning brands AMC, BBC America, IFC TV, SundanceTV, WE tv, and IFC Films and streaming services AMC+, Acorn, Allblk, Shudder and Sundance Now. Over the course of my career, I have transformed brands, implemented new business models and now am remaking the organization and culture to align to new business realities. As detailed under Experience below, I am especially proud of transforming our IFC TV business into an advertiser-supported destination for sharp, smart comedy and more recently spearheading our enterprise-wide reorganizations. I am known for unrelenting drive and am often the “go-to” C-Suite executive for helping move into uncharted waters. I can quickly diagnose what is wrong, what is needed and how to connect the dots and orchestrate the team. As a result, I have been appointed to progressively more senior positions over the course of my career. In addition to my primary focus, I have served on the board of three AMC Networks-affiliated businesses. I also advocate for a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion, oversee mentoring and allyship programs at our company and for rising leaders in the industry. My personal passions include advocating for people with visible and invisible disabilities. I am a National Board Member of Autism Speaks—an organization very close to my heart and with deep connection to my family. In my spare time I like nothing better than a staycation in Northern Westchester with my family.
