Amadeus provides the technology that keeps the travel sector moving – from initial search to making a booking, from pricing to ticketing, from managing reservations to managing check-in and departure processes. Our ambition is to facilitate the entire travel journey from door to door, whilst improving the travel ‘experience’ for hundreds of millions of people every year. This is achieved by connecting key players in the travel industry: travel agencies, corporations, airlines, airports, hotels, railways and more. With 1H2022 under my belt, and time spent thinking, reflecting, admittedly decompressing, and of course career planning, it is now time for an official update! During my 30+ year career in travel technology, I’ve worked for fantastic organizations, great leaders, and with supportive mentors. The companies, experiences, people, and friendships have confidently led me to seek more personal adventures, and new professional opportunities. #amadeus #worldspan #orbitzworldwide #ebookers I’ve been fortunate to thrive on the forefront of new business development, innovation and intrapreneurship at these organizations. Ultimately, it was my time working at a startup, managing Amadeus Launchpad, and having a coffee with a budding startup entrepreneur years ago that fueled my passion to work with startups and the startup community directly. I now plan to continue working directly with early-stage startups needing help navigating and networking within the complicated and ever evolving travel industry, as well as supporting travel innovation and the startup ecosystem focused on future growth and funding. Ideally, this will be working with like-minded individuals and/or organizations, as well as continuing my work as an advisor.
