Akron Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric health care provider in northeast Ohio, operating two children's hospitals and offering services at 78 locations across the region. We draw half a million patients each year for our more than 30 pediatric specialties, including heart, cancer, orthopedics, neonatology, pediatric intensive care, palliative care, adoptive health and burn.

I started my career with a BSN from the University of Akron. I have worked at Akron Children's Hospital for many years, progressing from a bedside nurse to Associate Chief Nursing Officer. In my current position as VP, Nursing Informatics, I work with nurses and other disciplines to maximize and improve use of the EMR, enable technology to assist with care delivery, and healthcare informatics. Akron Children's Hospital has supported my professional growth through the years including education with completion of MSN and MBA from Kent State University. During my career at Akron Children's, the hospital has grown to the 6th largest Children's Hospital in the United States and a leader in pediatric care. I am very proud of the accomplishments and care we deliver to children and their families.
