Carol brings her experience of working with and leading diverse teams in her current role as a Contract Specialist to acquire services at a fair and reasonable price, meet procurement deadlines, and provide exceptional customer service. In this role she has been equipped with the knowledge and resources to analyze financial data, negotiate prices with business owners for service contracts, and communicate effectively with all parties involved in the procurement process. In her free time Carol enjoys encouraging individuals who have vision and determination. She takes on projects that she believes will positively impact the lives of others. She enjoys meeting, learning and sharing information amongst business owners, co-workers, working professionals, and friends. She also enjoys mentoring and volunteering with high school and college students. Carol also has experience in event planning, promotional advertising, writing proposals, and career consultation that she gladly offers to non-profit organizations as a volunteer. Carol's future goals include obtaining her M.A. in Teaching and an Ed.D in Education Leadership; learning to speak and write in Spanish fluently; and form a foundation that will provide funding to grassroots non-profits providing education and leadership programs to at-risk youth.
