To ensure that we develop meaningful partnerships with each of our customers, fulfill their quality performance and service expectations, and achieve our customers' missions and objectives, Akima restructured in January 2004. Akima Construction Services LLC, an 8(a) operating company of Akima Management Services, was established in order to pursue work its predecessor company, Akima Corporation, was no longer eligible to perform as a graduate of the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program.
