I am a General Management Executive with a background in Sales and a proven history of running a business and leading large global teams across North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. As President of LATAM Meals Division of Mondelez (formerly Kraft), I’ve been running the 10,000-person Cheese (Philadelphia) and Desserts (Jell-O) business lines – with full P&L responsibility for Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR, and Corporate Affairs. I demonstrate a can-do attitude and encourage my teams to do the same, and as a result, I’m often tasked with leading turnarounds and directing strategic initiatives that involve designing and executing strategies that generate revenue and market share growth. Here are a few examples: ■ LEADERSHIP – Led the team that built and executed a winning strategy for Kraft Cheese and Desserts business in 20+ LATAM countries. Transformed the P&L and delivered double-digit sales and profitability growth and sizable share growth. ■ TURNAROUND – Returned Thailand to profitability, delivering double-digit profit levels in the first year. Built a strong foundation for future growth, with a plan to double business in 3–5 years. ■ STRATEGY – Set strategic direction for North America Sales, defining ONE coherent strategy for 6 independent business units (Oscar Meyer/Kraft Grocery & Desserts/ Nabisco/DiGiorno/ Maxwell House) and ONE plan for key customers (Walmart/Kroger). Reduced total selling cost ~10%. ■ TEAM BUILDING – Built and empowered lean management teams known for nimbleness and strong succession capability. Reached highest engagement scores of ~80% (+15-20pp) vs benchmarks. ■ IPO/M&A – IPO) Designed and launched Kraft Latin America in 2000. Helped form Mondelez in 2010 when it split from Kraft Foods.
