I am experienced human resources professional with outstanding communication and presentation skills. I have managed the Human Resources function for hotels ranging from 86 to 1000 rooms in suburban, city centers, and resort destinations. I have been responsible for non-exempt and exempt employees ranging from teams of 150 to 700. I have developed recruiting strategies to attract the highest caliber talent through effective succession management planning spread over five states and eight markets which included full service, lifestyle, select service, and extended stay hotels. I effectively managed business relationships and university life cycle recruiting to ensure that Marriott International was the employer of choice on the ten campuses that were included in my region. I have been certified by both Marriott International and Hilton Worldwide as a Certified Trainer and certified in Behavioral Interviewing by both organizations. I have advanced computer skills that allow me to create formatted spreadsheets and presentations that are embedded with video and audio. Over the years, I have developed events for Colleagues, Associates and Team Members that not only create a fun work environment, reinforce the brand’s culture and core values and drive engagement. Most recently, I was instrumental in the Blue Energy roll out at the Hilton University of Houston. I developed an award winning promotion for Earth Hour 2012 that resulted in the “Going Beyond the Hour” award. In addition, I have forged a strong relationship with the Covenant House Texas as part of Hilton Worldwide’s Bright Blue Futures program.
