Associate professor of German Language and Literature, specialty 19th - 20th century literature, particularly Weimar and Bertolt Brecht, Brecht's women colleagues Elisabeth Hauptmann, Margarete Steffin, Ruth Berlau, to name a few. I enjoy taking students to Europe, especially to Berlin, Munich, Vienna and Paris during Spring Break as part of an online culture course on discovering the city and its cultural artifacts, its history and its contemporary realities.
