My three greatest passions are education, the arts, and technology, all of which have contributed in various ways to the roles I have assumed in my life: teacher, actor, and most recently, web developer. I’m at my happiest when I’m working on a project and “in the zone”; I love being so focused on creating that I lose track of time. I’m a tenacious and goal-oriented person, and will approach projects from many different angles in order to produce the best product possible. My former position as a high school English teacher in the New York City Department of Education has had a great influence on my current professional aspirations. Working to fix the education crisis in our country is incredibly important to me, and I believe that part of the solution to this crisis can be found in developing technologies. I aspire to build applications for teachers that make their jobs more streamlined and efficient, and applications for students that facilitate their learning in an authentic way.
