I am a Partner in the Austin office of Vinson & Elkins and co-head of the Corporate department globally. My practice centers on V&E’s market-leading clean energy and renewables business, where I represent a range of clients in complex infrastructure and energy investments and projects. I also advise clients in the areas of project development and finance, mergers and acquisitions, complex structured transactions and joint ventures. My clients include private equity and special situations funds and developers. One of the things I appreciate and value most about my work is the opportunity to help invest capital in innovative technologies and projects that reduce our global carbon footprint. I am recognized as a national leader in clean energy, projects and renewables in a number of publications. I regularly represent some of the major investors in renewable and sustainable energy together with developers, sponsors, lenders and others on large scale energy and infrastructure transactions. I am also a Law Lecturer at The University of Pennsylvania Carey School of Law, where Dr. Maggie Peloso and I teach a class called Climate Change and the Energy Evolution.
