Christopher T. Furst is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Univision Communications. Mr. Furst is responsible for technology applications, infrastructure and operations across Univision's portfolio of media properties. Mr. Furst's technology portfolio services all corporate functions, broadcast & cable networks, TV stations, radio stations as well as digital operations & digital supply chain. Mr. Furst serves as a member of the Univision Executive Council and as Chair of the Univision Information Security Council. Mr. Furst is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at NBC Universal. Mr. Furst was responsible for Information Technology applications, infrastructure and operations across NBC Universal’s entire portfolio of media properties globally. Mr. Furst was a four time recipient of the NBC Universal Media Works President’s Award and was a member of the NBC Universal Leadership Council. As a David Rockefeller Fellow, Mr. Furst worked with the Partnership for New York City, focused on improving the effectiveness of public/private partnerships and civic leadership. Mr. Furst served on the board of directors of the Technology Business Management Council. Mr. Furst served on the board of directors of NPower, a national non-profit focused on IT skill development in the community. Prior to joining GE, NBC Universal & Univision, he was a Partner with Navint Consulting. Mr. Furst received his B.S. in Management from Fairfield University, where he has been a member of the President’s Circle and the Multicultural Scholarship fundraising committee. Mr. Furst is a graduate of the General Electric, John F. Welch Leadership Development Center.
