DevOps leader with a passion for improving system reliability using automation. I currently own all DevOps and Infra initiatives at a rapidly growing, always-on startup as we navigate through increasing levels of operational excellence. Previously I was the SRE for the 'Nike by You' customization team owning incident response, observability and increasing system resiliency through chaos experimentation. In 2017, I earned a Masters from Cornell University where I specialized in applying computer vision and machine learning to medical problems. After graduation, I helped scale out a Y-combinator web startup from pre-series A to series B wearing the hats of QE, release engineer, backend engineer (Python) and DevOps engineer. I led their prod deployments, monitoring, CI/CD process and building out their infrastructure as code. I’m enthusiastic about the DevOps mindset, infrastructure as code, environments on demand, zero downtime deployments, frequent deployments, performance improvement, observability, chaos engineering and automating as much as possible!
