Bill Webb is Vice President, Systems Engineering for Time Warner Cable. He is responsible for service and device provisioning for HSD and Digital Phone, network services such as DNS and DHCP, and also the customer facing mail platform and identity management platform. Bill joined TWC in 1999 to lead data center activities in North/South Carolina during the rollout of HSD services in those markets. During his first 3 years with the company he was responsible for growing the Carolina data center infrastructure from supporting zero customers to approximately 1M. In 2002 Bill transitioned to the Herndon, VA corporate location to take over responsibilities for Systems Engineering. In this role he led the transition to a centralized deployment model where back office and customer services are hosted from national locations with a focus on local high availability and geographic disaster recovery. Prior to TWC, Bill was responsible for technology implementation at several Fortune 500 companies as a manager and project lead for Ernst & Young Consulting.
