I'm a digital and marketing leader with expertise in building digital and marketing departments in scale-ups heading towards an IPO, as well as businesses looking to scale post IPO. My work at Thoughtworks is an example of this, where I've been one of the founding members of the marketing function. Over the past 12 years, I've held multiple regional and global marketing leadership positions spanning the entire marketing and digital functions. Each time the focus was on introducing a new capability, building a team and processes, and then moving on to the next challenge to establish another practice within the marketing and digital groups. In my current role, I have been one of the founding members of the Marketing Operations function and led the company's digital marketing transformation in preparation for the IPO. Working closely with the CMO and CIO, the ability of my team to implement a complex portfolio of initiatives on time and on budget has directly impacted Thoughtworks' brand equity, reaching a $9bn valuation. Post the IPO, I am balancing between future thinking of our strategic digital and analytics direction while orchestrating a Digital Experience Platform (DXP) programme of work, aiming to standardise processes and data quality so we can scale operations. I am passionate about 'how to stay human in a digital world' and bring a unique view on ethical marketing in the digital age. I advocate for human-centred experiences that embrace data privacy to their core and deliver keynotes on the topic. Having lived in 4 countries, I lead a truly global team from the Thoughtworks London office.
