I am a highly skilled executive with a proven track record defining and executing strategies that provide a transformative vision for corporations.I’m passionate about helping company’s build and deploy processes, methods, and tools that assist people in managing overwhelming complexity by reducing information overload, and enabling strategic alignment between business and engineering teams, thus making high-value decisions more efficiently, with high quality while capturing and reusing critical knowledge.One of my proudest accomplishments in my career to date has been the complete reinvention of process and tools for engineering teams at Motorola. Late software delivery had been causing a critical public safety systems delivery schedule to continue to slip with no end in sight. They tasked me with leading the team to bring software releases back on track. I also discovered that no two teams were using the same set of processes, methods, and tools which made it difficult to move engineers between teams. I tested the updated approach with a team which, had they not delivered on time, would have cost the company $8 million in penalty fees. This team of 15+ engineers was able to delivery the new system a week early, avoiding the penalty. Upon analysis of their past and present efforts, it was discovered they had achieved a 30X improvement in productivity while improving their overall quality. After that, business units across the company wanted help implementing the same set of process, methods, and hardware / software tools.Perhaps, though, my proudest achievement has been co-founding Decision Innovation, creating an extensive website and cloud decision support software, called Decision Knowledge Center, helping people make better decisions, all without loans or investor funding.I would welcome the opportunity to work with a company that will utilize my skill set, allow me to continue learning and improving while being one of their significant change leaders.
