Headquartered in Rossland, British Columbia, Thoughtexchange has a workforce of 50 and has raised $12M to date.

For the past 25 years I have worked with entrepreneurs and their start-ups in all kinds of roles. For the past 15 years, I have lived in and worked from Whistler, BC, pursuing an elusive balance between helping to build great companies and living my best life. After experiencing "pre-tirement" for a decade dotted with Board, advisory and consulting engagements, I returned to full-on company-building in late 2014 for ThoughtExchange. ThoughtExchange helps to solve the difficult human and leadership problem of how to have discussions with hundreds or thousands at once, meeting them where they are, and to get these groups to actively support a decision they don't necessarily agree with. It can't feel like a survey. It has to feel like a back and forth conversation with a small group lead by the ultimate decision-maker. TE has figured out how to do this at scale via SaaS, and launched the Enterprise Discussion Management space. I'm in a great place and I work with great people. I feel very lucky. And . . . as ThoughtExchange has begun to mature, I find myself being curious about the newer generation of start up and growth companies. What they are up to, and how I might help.
