I am an Aerospace Engineer with extensive experience in human spaceflight working on the Space Shuttle at NASA Johnson Space Center. Skills involved with this position include spacecraft navigation flight control using GPS, TDRS, and ground-based tracking radars, software requirements generation with code generation, and GPS firmware validation and implementation on flight hardware. After the end of the Shuttle program, I took a position specializing in product certification of electronic controllers to various North American and International hazardous and ordinary location standards; most notably: IECEx, ATEX, UL, FM-US, CSA, and various others. This position required cross-functional coordination between the certifications group, the quality manager, the production group, and marketing. I was also the primary point-of-contact for most certification agency audits. I am currently working for Raytheon on the GPS OCX program as a Senior Systems Engineer, working closely with Product Test and Software Engineers to validate the OCX software in preparation for delivery.
