With a sociology background from my years at UC Berkeley, my studies focused on organizational behavior and that the key to driving innovation is an inspired workforce. My passion for lifelong learning eventually led to me to various digital and IT roles where I’ve since had the opportunity to drive transformational change by leveraging IT and digital solutions to propel business growth. Since joining LifeTechnologies, and then staying on with Thermo Fisher after their acquisition, I have helped lead multibillion-dollar M&A integrations, digital marketing / demand generation, eCommerce, enterprise applications, call center operations, and LIMS sales/service teams overdelivering on aggressive revenue goals. Among my colleagues, I’ve built a reputation as a trusted leader and culture transformation catalyst by fostering environments of accountability and collaboration while empowering individuals to take ownership of their careers and consistently deliver on expectations. In addition to my hands-on work, I also serve as a regular speaker for international industry events on topics related to IT, digital marketing, and digital, technology, and business transformation.
