I am a freelance feature writer, columnist, and video producer/shooter/editor, covering food, wine and spirits, as well as art, design, and architecture. I have extensive experience in creating and conceptualizing story ideas, from development to completion. I also have experience as a magazine guest editor, and have worked in challenging conditions under tight deadlines in new media at Miami.com (among others); and in traditional broadcasting, at NBC4 in Washington, DC, where I worked on the nationally syndicated sports show, The George Michael Sportsmachine, as well as local news broadcasts.
