Steve has more than 30 years of business-building experience, specifically in the areas of corporate finance, sales, marketing and technology. He has been responsible for eight startups throughout his career, taking them from inception to commercialization and in several cases leading to successful liquidity events. Steve is currently the Chairman & CEO of Signal Technologies, a Dublin based software company focused on the wholesale vehicle market in the US & Canada. The $1.0tn used car market in the US is reliant upon a robust wholesale market that drives the industry - Signal operates an AI powered dealer to dealer wholesale Marketplace combined with the only technology platform that automates the $15bn US used vehicle import market. Prior to Signal, Steve was the CEO at TeleSign where he raised $79MM in growth capital and lead TeleSign to become the #1 Company in the Two Factor Authentication and Digital Identity category. Starting with 12 employees and negligible revenue, Steve grew TeleSign to 300 employees and more than $100MM in profitable annual revenue. TeleSign was acquired by BICS October 2017. Steve was also chairman and CEO of Vantage Media, an online digital marketing firm, where he and his investment partners raised $80MM to acquire in Vantage February 2007. Vantage Media grew into one of the largest performance-based online marketers in the country. As president and CEO of FrontBridge Technologies, Steve took the company from a startup to a global leader in SaaS email security services. Raising a total of $28MM of funding, this allowed the team to build a broad portfolio of services combined with the largest global distribution footprint in the email security category. This lead to the successful sale of FrontBridge to Microsoft in August 2005 for more than $200MM.
