I’m passionate about achieving a future in which every young person is able to fulfil their potential, regardless of their background. As Teach First's Head of School Partnerships for our new national SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) programme, I recruit and manage our partnerships with Delivery Partners, including Teaching School Hubs and Multi Academy Trusts. This follows six months Acting Up as Teach First's Co Head of Placement, leading our strategy for placement of our 2022 cohort, and 5+ years as School Partnerships Manager for Teach First in the East of England, developing and delivering a strategy for programme recruitment and growth. I'm an experienced line manager, and pride myself on creating an inclusive team culture which supports individuals to thrive. I lead an Aspiring Managers Circle at Teach First for colleagues aiming to enter management. Beyond Teach First, I'm a primary school Chair of Governors. Outside of education, I'm dedicated to improving bereavement support following my own experience of loss. I established and co- lead Teach First’s Bereavement Support Group, and lead the Norwich group of the charity Let’s Talk About Loss, https://letstalkaboutloss.org/, providing peer support for bereaved 18-35s.
