I’m passionate about engaging with people and continuously look for opportunities to strengthen my connections as well as to create opportunities for others to connect. My time at the American Gas Association taught me a lot of about the value of relationships and how to create and maintain connections. My current team at Southwest Gas had made significant advancements during the pandemic despite the challenges it created, because our group had invested the time and energy in cultivating relationships with each other and with our stakeholders over the previous 5 years. Aside from work, I have expanded my personal engagement with the Las Vegas community through my membership with the Las Vegas Southwest Rotary Club. I am the President for the 2022-2023 term, and I am working with our members to expand support in helping the youth in our community. We are accomplishing this by providing new shoes to elementary school children, providing leadership camp opportunities through our Rotary District, supporting music and writing programs, and by providing college scholarships. Through my involvement with Rotary, I have been exposed the numerous local and national community programs and have been amazed at how many individuals I have met that put “service above self”.
