On the soccer field and ball field, Joe’s passion for motivating and teaching is evident. Coach Joe’s knows it’s important to remember that “life lessons” are what sports teach us. He follows the concept that “Practice Makes ….Better”. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about getting better and improving. One of the life lessons he hopes the children learn is that their effort will be rewarded. He believes that in youth sports kids should be constantly learning – from their successes but also from their mistakes. Athletics help kids recognize that even the best players are constantly learning and working to get better. It’s an approach to life and business that will serve us all well It’s the passion for teamwork that he brings to his work as a Business Banker with S&T Bank. Joe teaches our children what we mean by a true team player and – someone who contributes and at the same time collaborates and cooperates with teammates to help bring out their best.
