Senior Technical Specialist Projects
We are the Victorian Government's major tax collection agency, a semi-autonomous service agency which acts under a framework agreement between the Victorian Treasurer, the Secretary of the Department of Treasury and Finance and the Commissioner of State Revenue. Our role is to administer Victoria's taxation legislation and collects a range of taxes, duties and levies. In 2013-14, we collected in excess of $13 billion in revenue for the Victorian Government. We also administer the First Home Owner Grant (FHOG), unclaimed money (since October 2004), the growth areas infrastructure contribution (GAIC) and several subsidies and exemptions.

Through the implementation of major projects, I demonstrate commitment to driving and managing business improvement, facilitating change management activities and creating productivity efficiencies and red tape savings. My skills in people management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement, along with a commitment to life long learning underpin my value in a senior leadership capacity. Most recently I have led the delivery of digital enhancements to SRO systems which enable all Victorian property transfers to be completed electronically. Utilising superior stakeholder engagement skills across Government, peak body industry associations and the private sector to drive digital change. My leadership of this delivery extends upon the development and implementation of the SRO's Digital Duties Form which compressed 17 paper based duties forms into one electronic digital interface for property settlements. This project created significant efficiencies and is a savings for vendors, purchasers and practitioners of $130 million over 10 years in red tape.
