I'm a passionate, commercially-minded technologist, focused on enabling global organizations to quickly deliver more value to customers, execute faster than their competitors, and become the disruptor, not the disrupted.I joined Splunk as CTO in 2015, with the focus on helping customers solve advanced analytics use-cases for IT Ops, Security, IoT, and Business Analytics. In my SVP & GM role, I led the market group responsible for bringing new IoT and Business Analytics solutions to market. Prior to Splunk I was CIO of Distribution Finance at GE Capital. I focused on leveraging technology to drive business model innovation, blurring the lines between business and IT. I also served as the chief architect for GE Capital Americas, leading the IT, cultural, and process transformation to operate with commercial intensity & move at market speed using cloud, DevOps, analytics, & continuous insights. Prior to GE, I was part of IBM's Software Group, with roles in development, field services, and product management.
