My background includes managing large areas of responsibility, leading diverse and cross-functional teams, and driving high-level strategy. Throughout my career, I have established and maintained a track record of achieving transformational, high-growth results with two breakthrough success stories in the retail industry. Within this context, I have built a strong network of key industry relationships and strategic partnerships that I can leverage in future positions. In my work within the retail industry, I have championed and led aggressive advancements in product, service, and market strategies to ensure that my employers have maintained a competitive edge. I am deeply dedicated to the ideas of embracing change and driving growth. With both Spencer Spirit Holdings and Charming Shoppes, I followed a very similar pattern that allowed me to utilize a broad range of problem-solving, reengineering, and leadership skills. I was frequently hired and promoted into new areas, often ones with distinct challenges and impediments to growth. After evaluating existing issues and challenges, I created detailed, innovative plans to right-size those problems, then establish a path for ongoing success.
