There are three words that my life and my career focus on. Read on to learn more about how these words have helped me during my diverse experiences as a marketer. CONFIDENCE The number one characteristic that my life and my career focus around is confidence. Believing in myself and in others has helped me grow into a professional that can take on multiple projects at a time and be trusted to complete them on time. At InterviewStream I was treated as an instrumental part of the team. Management relied on me to target prospective customers through email campaigns and trusted me with the task of creating a more efficient RFP application process. Having an extensive amount of responsibility and feeling needed pushed me to succeed under pressure and gave me the confidence I needed to take my career to the next level. DRIVEN Having the right mindset is essential to being successful. My drive to be successful has helped me tremendously in my career. With my second Co-Op, I wanted to make a lasting impression that would get me invited back for my third and final Co-Op. I knew that I had to work hard and show that I added value to the organization. My hard work paid off. By the end of the Co-Op, I had developed a campaign targeting a niche market and was providing market research for the leadership team to make decisions based on my findings. I felt trusted by the management team and most importantly - I got invited back for my final Co-Op. GOALS I am a strong believer in setting goals in both my career and my life. Goals give me a sense of direction and hold me accountable for the decisions I make along the way. Each day I set goals for what I want to accomplish. I write them down and look at them often. This helps me stay on track and organized. My ultimate goal is to start a career where I can grow and be depended on. Whether this is a place I have worked in the past or if a new opportunity presents itself, I want to make a difference.
