John has more than 30 years of EH&S experience, of which 20 years has been focused on transactions. He is responsible for the company’s Due Diligence service. John has been client manager and project manager on many due diligence projects in a wide array of industries. John has a tremendous understanding of the issues encountered by buyers, sellers, and financial institutions involved in due diligence transactions. This understanding allows John to design and manage due diligence projects in a way that provides all participants a mutual understanding of the EH&S issues involved. This customized approach has proved to be of tremendous value to clients. These projects include large power projects and some of the largest oil & gas transactions that have occurred in the United States in the recent past. Power projects have included operating assets and construction of both traditional generating and co-generation facilities. Upstream oil and gas projects have included domestic and international assets, both onshore and offshore. Downstream and chemicals projects have included privatization of international assets and several large joint ventures. Additionally, John has been assisting companies develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of their management systems, policies and practices. This includes issues ranging from plant operating practices to practices concerning corporate treatment of environmental disclosures. He has been involved in assisting clients integrate the Sarbanes–Oxley requirements, FAS 143, and SFAS 143 requirements into their overall management systems. Managing Partner of E.Vironment, LLC E.Vironment, LLC was acquired by SLR International Corporation in February 2016. John attended the University of Texas where he earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees.
