I'm a seasoned software development executive with more than eighteen years experience creating technology solutions for the mortgage industry. I've held roles ranging from software developer to development manager to technology director, business manager, strategist, and product manager. As a developer, I created document imaging and retrieval applications that reached tens of thousands of users across a wide spectrum of Fortune 500 financial services firms. As a business manager, I turned around a $2 MM start-up organization that was losing money, bringing it to a 60% margin business in under two years under extremely tight financial and operational constraints. As a product management VP, I helped set direction for a $45 MM document management organization that handles some 20% of the mortgage volume in the US market. I love getting my hands dirty and solving problems. I know every angle of a software development business and thrive in an environment where I stay involved in all those functions. Creating bulletproof apps with graceful user interfaces and elegant code makes me very, very happy.
