Experienced IT Director who was focused on success through simplifying and automating processes , team development and enabling technology when delivering measurable, effective solutions. Additional focus on heart disease, addiction and depression would have been next if I didn't get away from the IT field. If I received one more calendar request for a meeting that the organizer is unprepared for and the only metric of success is who cried the least, I would have to add workplace violence to my skill set. It never got to that point because a couple of past peers proved to me everything noted above while also showing me they were exactly who everyone else told me they were including cheaters and scammers who thought more of themselves than anyone on their team or for that matter anyone (period). The people within the IT industry (recruiters, CIO's, management, peers) are no longer capable, skilled workers. They have shown tremendous capabilities in marketing themselves and promoting their "accomplishments" but when you peel back the facade, you see someone pretending. Most are yes people waiting to please their master. The off shore model and commodity of services has unleashed a mess in the industry. The department "favorites" are miserable and don't want to be anyone's favorite. They live to stab backs while fooling only the person who decides their future. Political correctness SUCKS and prevents any of you still employed in this industry from publicly agreeing with me but deep down you want to throw me a 10' tall high five. You're welcome. That's as real as it gets.
